Math for America-Boston (MfA-Boston) is delighted to announce that Corey Cheever of Lawrence High School has been awarded an MfA-Boston Master Teacher Fellowship.  The new MfA-Boston Fellowship will run from 2015 to 2019. It offers annual stipends as well as professional development (PD) and leadership opportunities including the following: graduate courses in mathematics or mathematics education, participation in a range of PD workshops, study groups to support the creation of PD units, support for building instructional and leadership skills, invitations to contribute to pre-service...

MfA Boston Board Member and Chair of the Department of Mathematics at Boston College, Dr. Solomon Friedberg, has been appointed to the National Academy of Science's U.S. National Commission for Mathematics Instruction.
